FRONTLINES Roblox FRONTLINES Maps and Modes
Pick guns for the lane you actually fight on — not the thumbnail you watched.
FRONTLINES matches rotate through objective identities that change how long you should hold an angle. This guide covers the core modes and the map philosophy behind Launch Canyon, Factory, Cavalcade, and similar arenas so your loadout from the players hub finally matches the terrain.
Modes overview
Team Deathmatch
Pure eliminations. Pace is high, spawns matter, and overextending after a kill is the classic mistake. Bring a flexible primary from the weapons tier list and keep a secondary ready for panic trades.
Kill Confirmed
Downing a player is not enough — tags must be confirmed. Traipsing into the open for a tag without a teammate is how streaks end. Play with a buddy angle: one confirms, one covers.
Domination
Point control rewards utility skills and grenade timing. Holding a captured flag with Nightwing sprays works until a sniper lane opens; then you need rotation discipline from Controls movement habits.
King of the Hill
The hill moves the teamfight. Arrive early, pre-aim entrances, and do not dry-swing the same door twice. Attachment choices that improve ADS speed shine here — see Attachments.
Map philosophy
Exact layout names can expand over time. The maps players actually search are:
- Launch — port-style mixed spaces with tunnels between open yards. Transitioning from a hallway into a courtyard is where AWM and The Fix punish sprinting.
- Canyons — vertical canyon walls and maze-like routes. Watch above you as well as the lane in front; EBR and snipers own the long cuts.
- Factory — industrial CQB, junk cover, and room clears. Nightwing, AS VAL, MP5, and the M500 secondary belong here.
- Cavalcade — snow, damaged buildings, ladders, and mixed range. One-trick loadouts die; start mid then adjust.
Learn two lanes per map: a safe rotate and a greed swing. Call them mentally (left street, mid container, back scaffolding) even if your stack has no voice chat.
Loadout by map type
| Map feel | Primary bias | Skill bias |
|---|---|---|
| Long lanes | AWM / The Fix | Info or survival |
| Mixed mid | Controllable AR | Flexible slot mix |
| Tight interior | Nightwing / MP5 / AS VAL | Entry aggression |
Confirm details in primary weapons and skills loadouts.
Round flow checklist
- Identify mode before first contact.
- Glance at teammate positions — do not triple-stack one doorway.
- Win first gunfight, then reload behind cover.
- For objectives, trade space for time; do not ego-challenge a held angle alone.
- If FPS tanks on denser maps, open FPS Performance.
Connecting guides
New players should still finish Getting Started before memorizing every prop. Credits planning for map-specific unlocks belongs in Level Up and Credits. When cheaters ruin a hill fight, use Votekick and Hackers.
Map-by-map lane thinking
Launch rewards patience when you exit tunnels into open yards. Treat every courtyard as an AWM or The Fix duel you can lose — cross quickly or rotate wide. Pre-aim head height at common crests.
Canyons adds vertical threat. Players on walls and debris above you will win if you only scan ground level. EBR tap-firing between rocks beats Nightwing ego-swings across the long cuts.
Factory is industrial CQB. Sound and hipfire matter. Nightwing and AS VAL players should clear rooms in pairs — solo door rushes feed Kill Confirmed tags to the team camping the corridor behind you.
Cavalcade and similar mixed maps punish one-trick loadouts. Start mid-range with MP5, M4, or EBR, then adjust after the first hill fight tells you whether the lobby is brawling or sniping. Keep graphics at 1–3 if foliage clutters corner peeks — see FPS Performance.
Spawn and rotate basics
In 7v7, triple-stacking one choke loses rounds even if your K/D looks fine. Spread default spawns across two lanes so the enemy cannot collapse one doorway with a single grenade. When you win a fight, reload before you chase the next tag — especially in Kill Confirmed where the dog tag is bait. Rotate early on Domination when the point is lost; hero anchors without backup only delay the inevitable cap.
Mode pick for practice goals
| Goal | Queue | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Raw aim | Team Deathmatch | Constant duels, forgiving spawn flow |
| Movement under pressure | Domination | Rotations while points tick |
| Discipline | Kill Confirmed | Punishes greedy confirms |
| Team stack timing | King of the Hill | Hill spawns teach trade spacing |
FRONTLINES looks like a highlight reel game, but ranked-feeling lobbies are won by boring fundamentals: angles, reloads, and mode literacy. Use this page as your pre-queue reminder.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for FRONTLINES operators.
How many players per team?
Matches are built around 7v7 online play, though lobbies can start with fewer players.
Which mode is best for aiming practice?
Team Deathmatch for pure gunfights; add Domination later for movement under pressure.
What gun should I use on open maps?
Consider AWM or The Fix after you can hit first shots — see primary weapons.
Why do I keep dying after kills in Kill Confirmed?
You are likely confirming tags without cover. Bring a teammate or clear the lane first.
